Rye Barrel Aged Funnel Web. You know the story with the spiders. A full ton or more of fruit. Premium honey. Aged in a barrel for at least a year.
Born in the Summer of 2021; we used primo organic honey plus black currants from Poland, tart cherries from Turkey, raspberries from Mexico, blackberries from the Pacific Northwest, wild pesticide free blueberries from Canada and organic strawberries from right here in Florida.
We then aged it for 2+ years in a freshly emptied 6yo Willett Rye whiskey barrel.
It’s a sensuous mix of bold berry, delicate tannins, woody vanillins, a kiss of rye spice and a savory dry finish.
