Barrel Aged Peanut Butter Banana French Toast Plus aka BAPBBFT+ features organic honey, bananas and peanuts with the addition of Grade A Maple Syrup from at Morse Farm in Vermont plus Saigon cinnamon. We then aged it in a Willett Rye Whiskey barrel with a bit of Brazilian Amburana for good measure.
PBBFT remains amongst our most popular concepts and has some sentimental significance to me. It was sort of the product that laid down the foundation for what became the Waffles series. In a real way; it felt like a meaningful step forward in our mead making.
