Our 2022 Valvin Muscat 'Goldig' showcases the delightful muscat character of this Cornell-bred hybrid grape, which combines the exotic aromatics of Muscat Ottonel with enhanced resilience for Kansas growing conditions. Crafted from grapes grown at Robbins Vineyard in the Kaw Valley region near Oskaloosa, this semi-sweet white wine captures the essence of its noble heritage while expressing the unique terroir of northeastern Kansas. Like its name 'Goldig,' which means both 'sweet/cute' and 'golden' in German, this wine embodies both meanings - charming in its gentle sweetness while shimmering with bright, sun-kissed qualities. A perfect complement to spicy cuisine, fresh fruit desserts, or soft cheeses.

In the glass, this charming Valvin Muscat reveals its distinguished muscat lineage through waves of enticing aromatics. The initial bouquet presents fresh mandarin orange and vibrant grapefruit notes, followed by delicate honeysuckle blossoms.
