Our 2021 Chambourcin proudly represents Kansas' official state red wine grape, a French-American hybrid that has found an ideal home in the Kaw Valley region. Crafted from grapes grown at Rappaho Vineyard in Vinland, Kansas, this elegant wine undergoes a carefully controlled fermentation process followed by nine months of aging in special hybrid barrels. These unique barrels, featuring American oak staves and French oak heads, honor both the grape's French breeding program heritage and its Kansas home. A versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with pizza, premium grilled meats, and local artisanal cheeses.
