LITHA - (also known as midsummer) is a celebration held on the summer solstice. We honor the bounty of the summer by pairing our honey with blueberries and fresh lemons. The resulting Mead is delightfully balanced and refreshing.

Beautiful blend of sweet honey and blueberries balanced by a slightly tart lemon finish. VERY refreshing.

Misty Mountain is now the oldest operating Meadery in Virginia. Our Meadmaker, Richard, is very experienced, beginning creations of Meads in 1983. Decades later our friends persuaded us to start a commercial Meadery. And here we are.
Our Meads are very much about the honey. Any natural additives are used judiciously to enhance the honey characteristics. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
