This is a Red Raspberry Mead, fermented in Clover Honey. Red raspberries are so amazing in the fermenter, and Clover honey integrates with them beautifully.
And then of course, some of us might remember the song... "Crimson and clover, over and over..." Whether that takes you back to Joan Jett and the Blackhearts or WAY back to Tommy James and the Shondells... well, does it matter?
