The Central Miombo woodlands are a remarkably diverse biosphere in Central Africa. In Tanzania, honey is sustainably gathered from tropical forests with an incredible variety of flowering plants. In the summer, bees gather pollen and honeydew to create a dark, earthy and caramelly honey. In the winter, the Miombo comes alive with flowers and the same bees make a lighter, fruitier and more floral honey. We love both on their own but couldn’t resist making a cuvée of the two. Harvest Blend showcases characteristics of both our summer and winter Miombo meads, while at the same time presenting an entirely new taste experience. We hope you enjoy this unique mead.
