◽Calling all bourbon lovers!!◽
We put our 'Soliloquy of Nectar: Orange Blossom' Mead in a 10-year KNOB CREEK single-barrel for 12 months. This KNOB CREEK single-barrel was so wet when it arrived that we were able to get a sample of the barrel-proof bourbon to experience what the barrel had to offer and to choose which mead would work best to fill it with.
The resulting barrel-aged mead is a bourbon lover's dream! The signature KNOB CREEK aromas jump out of the glass, and the flavors of the bourbon and mead seamlessly combined in the barrel, transforming the bright citrus mead into candied citrus and zest, while the delicate honey took on toffee characteristics with the classic Knob Creek peanut brittle notes.
