This is our second release of this pommeau. The brandy for this was aged in the solera style with one & two year old barrel aged brandies distilled from our ciders by partner distilleries. This was blended with the juices of Hyslop crabapple & old cultivar honeyed Golden Delicious apples to create a sweet dessert apple wine and aged for 26 months in a neutral red wine barrel. This version is softer than our first 2018 release with the flavors melding to create a rich palette of notes balanced between caramel, spiced apple, honey, and leather. This is best enjoyed at room temp poured over a cube of ice as an aperitif, digestif, or as a decadent indulgence. 44 Cases made
