This honey wine is named for the Norse origin story of mead and poetry. Odherir, "Heart Stirrer" is the name of one of the 3 cauldrons Kvasir's blood was fermented in to make the Mead of Poetry; one sip turns the taster into a honey-tongued Skald, Poet and Sage. We draw inspiration from the "whole hive" meads of our ancestors, using raw honey from our bees, so fresh and wild you can taste the flavors of Pollen, Propolis, and Royal Jelly. We recommend a poem with every sip of this magical mead.
We honor the spirit of the hive and make high quality honey wines celebrating the floral source, using the highest quality botanicals and alchemical methods. We are treatment free, natural beekeepers who tend hives in Washington state on both sides of the Cascade Mountains.
