Season's Drinkings is our seasonal wine. It debuted in 2016 and promptly sold out (twice)! It is a blend of estate grown Catawba and Frontenac Gris grapes with a little added time soaked with Cinnamon Sticks. It is a sweet white wine with a hint of pink coloring from the Catawba. The back label has been a hit. It reads:
This wine is paired perfectly with exaggerated stories that you have heard 18 times, teenagers who won’t put down their phones for 1 minute to open the gift you spent your precious time and money on, trick or treaters who decide to toilet paper your house because you don’t give them a king size candy bar, rude people at overcrowded stores that would rather punch you than miss out on this year’s ridiculous toy that every kid HAS to have but won’t play with past New Year’s, and in-laws who love to subtly remind you that you will never be good enough at anything! Warning: One bottle may not be enough!
Lake Hill Winery opened New Year's Eve of 2011 in Carthage, IL. It sits on a hill overlooking the beautiful Carthage Lake. The wine list is still growing, but currently consists of 10 wines, including 4 whites, 4 reds, and 2 fruit wines.
