Wonderfully complex mead with flavors of fresh mangoes, honey, smoke, finishing with a light spiciness. We enjoy this slightly chilled, over ice, mixed in a bloody Mary, and poured over pork tenderloin.

Hive and Barrel is Kentucky's only Meadery. We are an award wining Meadery with 12 mead currently being produced. When we say small farm winery we mean small. Our batches are made in 40 to 200 gallons at a time. We have an extensive selection of barrel finished Meads like Rum, Red Wine Barrel, Bourbon, Brandy, and Port.
