Our Special Reserve Mead is a big, strong, complex honey wine. The alcohol content is 16% and the mead is off-dry (between dry and semi-sweet). It is aged heavily in oak for a long period of time. This is by far our longest aged mead and recommend it to be served at cellar temperature (around 50 to 60 degrees F).
If pairing this mead with food, you’ve got to get medieval with it! Very flavorful cheeses, smoked turkey legs, and hearty sausages are some recommendations.
