Fey is a dry but full-bodied apple mead as magical as the name implies. An easy session mead with a robust character, Fey is spontaneously fermented from New York State cider apples and local honey in oak barrels over the course of a full year. We are proud to offer this unfiltered natural mead without added sulfites in a very limited edition of only 60 cases. Released in time for Halloween!
Enlightenment Wines has been focusing on small batch natural unfiltered meads made with wild yeast, foraged herbs, and locally sourced fruits since 2009. Our mead are dry, around 12-13% alcohol, barrel fermented and released seasonally. We have two production locations, one on a family farmstead in the Hudson Valley and the other in Brooklyn New York.
