Pirene features three different types of honeys (Zambian, Avocado, Carrot Blossom) and is brewed with Champagne yeast.
The Zambian and Avocado honeys are used during fermentation, while the mead is sweetened post-fermentation with the Carrot Blossom Honey.
Perine ends up on the sweeter side of CCMW meads and boasts notes of chocolate and red velvet (without any actual chocolate being added). You definitely could've fooled me!
