Ackerman Winery, located in the Amana Conlies, is Iowa's oldest winery (est. 1956) produces outstanding fruit wines. Some of their best sellers include Rhubarb, Blackberry and Red Raspberry. They also have exotic wines like Mango and Dandelion Blossom.
Fireside Winery, located in Marengo, Iowa, specializes in grape wines made from fruit grown in their vineyard.
Local varietals include Brianna and LaCrosse for whites and Marquette and Frontenac for reds.
