Starting with orange-blossom honey, Assam black tea, and fresh oranges, Clinton's Folly is a sweet mead with a bitter edge. And no, it's not named for THAT Clinton, but for the Erie Canal, which made it possible for Western New Yorkers to partake of fresh oranges nearly 200 years ago.
Gluten-free. Sulfites added. Serve chilled.
At 810 Meadworks, we start with fermented honey & then spin all kinds of wild variations on your usual mead. We’ll throw in mangoes, pomegranates, cucumbers, rose petals, coffee beans, tea leaves, peppercorns, lavender, wasabi . . . just about anything as long as it comes out great in the end.
