Maple water from our farm is used as the base, setting the stage for the honey to perform its harmonious melodies. The honey - composed of blackberry blossom from our estate grown blackberries, black locust, and goldenrod, among other local nectar sources - produce an aromatic maple mead with a creamy, floral and fruity zing.

4 Mile Wine Co. was created by husband and wife duo Ben and Holly Studer and is located in the historic community Camp Springs, KY (20 minute south of Cincinnati, OH). We hand craft delicious, mouth watering meads (honey wine) and country wines (fruit wines) made only from whole fruits, raw honey and some cases cane sugar - no purees, no juices, no syrups.
We make our meads more like fine wine, mostly dry, but balanced with perceived sweetness.
